Article - Following God
Every true Christian is required to follow God wherever it leads us to, no matter how the bad situations can turn out to be. Going to church is a great way to get in touch with God, ask for forgiveness for your sins, and to thank Him for what He’s done for you. Following God is guaranteed to lead you to the right path of life and where you want to be, just as long as you believe in Him and is obedient to His commandments.
Following God does not mean you will get everything you want. If everyone got what they want, everyone would be Christians. However, following God means you earn His trust, and some dreams that you've asked for may come true; it's always God's choice whether a dream should come true or not, because God knows what's right.
Always listen to your spirit, because that is where God will contact you. He will tell you when you are doing something that he does not like, through your conscience, which is part of your spirit. Do not think that if you sin too much, God will leave you. No, God is in you 24/7 and will always be with you, no matter what you have done. If you think that when you sin so big, that God will not forgive you for your sin, you are wrong. Yes, there will be consequences, but God HAS to forgive you because Jesus has died on the cross so that He will take care of all the sins already made, and in the future. Ask God for forgiveness and if you truly mean it with your heart, He will forgive you. If you ask God for forgiveness and truly mean it, He will lead you back to the right path.
Sometimes you may be wondering what the best choice is for you. Well, what is? Pray to God for everything to turn out what's best for you and the people around you, and then just let God lead you on. He will take care of you. You may face really bad situations, just pray to God and they will get resolved as long as you pray within your heart and spirit. A quote from the bible states "God is Love". It means that God is love, and because He loved us so much, he has given us a chance to live eternally. So, follow God because He is always there for you inside your spirit.
